Is thukpa good for health?
Thukpa is very good and beneficial for our body especially in cold weather. It helps to keep the body warm. If you have cold weather in your area, make it now and eat it. Because after eating it you will feel warm and your body will get heat. You can eat thukpa in any season. It does not affect the body. But since thukpa is made from noodles and noodles are junk food, consuming it in large quantities (daily) can be harmful to your body (unless it is practically poof).

Now heat oil in a pan. once oil is heated, add chopped onion and fry. After frying onion, add garlic and ginger paste and green chilli and fry for a while. Now fry the chopped tomato in it. Once the tomato is well roasted, add mushroom, cabbage, carrot, capsicum, (if you want to make chicken thukpa or chicken thukpa noodles, use chicken instead of veg and other steps are the same), salt, cumin and coriander seed powder, red chilli powder and mix it and Roast well.Cook it on medium flame for 5min.
Once it is well roasted, add 1lt or more or less (depending on how much gravy/liquid you like to use while using water and use more water for chicken thukpa) and cook till it boils well.
Note: If you are making chicken thukpa, cook until the chicken is cooked.
Boil the water well for 2-3min (minimum 7-8min for chicken thukpa). Now add the previously prepared boiled noodles, spring onion, coriander and lemon juice / vinegar and cook it for a while (2-4 min). After it is cooked, the thukpa is completely ready to eat.
