Choila
Choila: introduce:
Choila is a newari food. Choila is a famous meal of Nepal. It originated from the Newari community of Nepal. Choila is also called haku choila in Newari community. In Newari, haku means black and choila means roasted meat. It is often eaten with chiura / baji as well as newari aila and other alcohol's.

Choila is eaten at every newari feast. Choila is mainly made from buffalo meat but nowadays there are many types of choila. Such as buff choila, chicken choila, pork choila.
The method of making choila is the same, but when you are making choila, you have to use the meat whatever you like. Today I will teach you how to make choila easily at home. Use the method below to make choila easily at home.
Note: Use the meat you like. I have used buffalo meat.

First you need some Ingredients as follow;
S. N. Ingredients/Quantity:
1 Buff boneless (700gm cut into long shape)
2 Ginger garlic paste (2 spoon)
3. Red chilli powder(2sp)
4. Cumin powder(1 sp)
5. Turmeric (half sp)
6. Salt(to taste)
7. Oil(5sp)
8. Coriander leaves chopped
9. Black pepper
10. Fenugreek seeds grounded (1sp)
11. Tomato roasted (2piece)
(If you don't like tomato, you can avoid)
Note: You can also use the quantity of ingredients and ingredients according to your own.
Used Iron roasted rod for roasting meat in Newari house. which is also called gaso in newari. You can use other tools for roasting meat.
Buff choila recipe and chicken choila recipe:
Now put the meat in the thin rod. After putting the meat in the rod, roast it in the fire.simply roast meat in the fire.Roast the meat well on both sides.This meat is cooked after it is well roasted.
(If you do not have enough tools to roast meat, you can use the following method.
For that, boil the meat first. Fry the boiled meat in oil. Fry well in oil for a while till the meat turns brown on both sides.)
Put this cooked or fried meat in a pot. Now cut it into small pieces. Now put a small piece of meat in a bowl. Now add green garlic, salt, black pepper, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder and roasted tomato.
Now take a pan and heat oil in it. Then put fenugreek seeds in hot oil and fry it. Then add turmeric and mix and heat.
Now pour this hot oil into the bowl with the previous meat and other ingredients on top. Then add green coriander leaves.Now mix it all well. After mixing well for 2-3minutes, this choila is ready. Now you can eat or serve it.
